We built SignBolt because we were tired of paying enterprise prices for something that should take 3 seconds. Upload a document, place your signature, download the signed PDF. That's it.
The Honest Report
SignBolt has 23 verified users and 32 documents signed since launch on 9 April 2026. One paying customer at $57 per year. We publish actual database numbers β not estimates β so you can verify the platform before trusting it with a contract.

The founding idea is simple: DocuSign charges $25 to $50 a month for what is fundamentally a solved problem. Most people β freelancers, property managers, consultants, small business owners β just need to sign a PDF. They don't need workflow automation, Salesforce connectors, or enterprise audit dashboards.
So we stripped e-signatures back to what matters. SignBolt processes a signed PDF server-side using pdf-lib in under 3 seconds. The signed file is cryptographically tamper-evident. The audit trail captures timestamps, IP addresses, and signer details. It's everything you actually need β without the $25/month price tag.
SignBolt is operated by SeaQae Group, a software business based in Perth, Western Australia. We're a small, focused team. No VC money, no growth targets that force us to bloat the product, no incentive to charge you more than the service is worth.
Being based in Australia means we take privacy seriously. The Australian Privacy Act shapes how we think about user data by default β not as an afterthought. We don't sell your data. We don't run retargeting ads. We run a SaaS business: you pay for a plan, you get the service.
Our logo is a blue centipede β fast, precise, and built for getting things done. The centipede moves with purpose. It doesn't stop to ask for your credit card, it doesn't make you sit through an onboarding wizard, and it doesn't lock your signed documents behind a paywall. It just signs documents and gets out of the way.
The blue is deliberate too β trust, reliability, and the kind of calm confidence that comes from knowing the tech underneath actually works.
SignBolt is built on Next.js (App Router) and deployed on Vercel. PDF processing runs server-side with pdf-lib. Client-side PDF preview uses pdfjs-dist. Payments are handled by Stripe (live, PCI-compliant). Email delivery uses Resend.
We believe in technical transparency. If you want to inspect how signatures are embedded, how audit trails are generated, or how our REST API works, the developer documentation is public. No walls.
Every signed document produced by SignBolt includes:
SignBolt is designed to support common electronic-signature workflows under the ESIGN Act (US), UETA (US states), eIDAS (EU), and the Electronic Transactions Act 1999 (Australia). Validity depends on the document, signer authority, consent, and any witnessing or filing rules.
Six principles that drive every product decision at SignBolt.
We optimise for signing speed, not feature count. Most documents are signed in under 3 seconds on SignBolt. If a feature slows you down, we donβt build it.
Our free tier isnβt a trial. Thereβs no expiration date, no credit card required, and no hidden upsells. 3 documents a month, free forever.
Every signature includes SHA-256 hashing, timestamps, and IP logging to support common electronic-signature requirements.
Desktop, tablet, or phone. Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. No app to install, no plugin to update. If you have a browser, you can sign.
Our Pro plan at $8/month gives you 50 documents β 16 cents per document. DocuSign charges over 80 cents for the same thing. Business plan is $24/month, unlimited.
REST API, Bearer token auth, and public documentation. Integrate SignBolt into your own workflows without calling a sales team or signing a contract.
