Create your account
Sign up at signbolt.store. Verify your email — this is required for security and AU Spam Act compliance.
Set up your profile
Add your company name and contact details. This appears on documents sent for signature.
Invite your team
Go to Dashboard → Team → Invite Members. Add everyone who needs to send or manage documents. They'll receive email invites.
Configure roles
Assign Admin or Member roles. Admins can manage templates, billing, and team settings. Members can send and sign documents.
Browse built-in templates
SignBolt has 12 pre-built templates: NDA, Employment Contract, Freelance Contract, FIFO Employment, Site Safety Induction, Contractor Agreement, Site Access Permit, Environmental Declaration, Equipment Hire, Lease Agreement, Consulting Agreement, and Invoice.
Customise for your operation
Each template is editable. Add your company logo, adjust field positions, add or remove signing fields. Changes save automatically.
Upload your own templates
If you have existing PDF templates from your old platform, upload them to SignBolt. Drag and drop signing fields onto the document where they need to appear.
Set up your top 3 workflows
Identify the 3 documents your team sends most often. Make sure they're set up as templates first — this will save the most time from day one.
Send a test document to yourself
Use Dashboard → Send for Signature → select a template → add yourself as recipient → send. Check the signing experience from a signer's perspective.
Review the audit trail
After signing, check the audit trail in your dashboard. Confirm the timestamp, IP address, and SHA-256 hash are recorded correctly.
Download the signed PDF
Download the signed document and verify it looks correct. Check the audit footer and verification ID at the bottom of each signed page.
Send your first real document
Pick a low-stakes document — an NDA, a simple contractor agreement, or an onboarding form — and send it to a real recipient. This is the best way to confirm the experience end-to-end.
Run a 20-minute team walkthrough
Walk your team through the send-for-signature flow, how to check document status, and how to download signed documents. Most teams need less than 20 minutes of training.
Set up integrations
Connect SignBolt to the tools your team already uses: HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, Zapier, Xero, Google Workspace. Each integration takes 2–5 minutes to configure.
Configure email branding
Upload your company logo and set your email sender name. Signing request emails will come from your brand, not SignBolt.
Set up automatic reminders
Configure how many days after sending to automatically remind unsigned recipients. Recommended: first reminder at 3 days, second at 7 days.
Migrate your high-volume workflows
Move your highest-volume document types to SignBolt. Update any internal process documentation, email templates, or automation that referenced your old platform.
Set up bulk send (if needed)
If you regularly send the same document to many recipients — FIFO employment contracts, safety inductions, contractor onboarding — configure bulk send to handle this in one workflow.
Brief your signers (optional)
Signers don't need accounts or any preparation. But for large operations like mine sites, a brief note to contractors that signing links will now come from SignBolt can reduce confusion.
Cancel your old platform
Once you've confirmed everything works in SignBolt, cancel your DocuSign, HelloSign, or Adobe Sign subscription before the next billing date.
